Noahs Ark Animal Welfare Association

homeless animals for adoption, provide community education to address pet overpopulation, prevent animal cruelty and promote responsible animal care

About Us
Noah's Ark is a non-profit organization caring for animals for more than 40 years. We operate a limited admission facility that operates under an "adoption focused" philosophy, meaning no adoptable pet will be euthanized due to age, breed, lack of space or modifiable behavioral issues. Noah's Ark also operates a Spay-Neuter Hotline that people can call for coupons for reduced spay or neuter services from a network of veterinarians in the community. We rely on donations from the public to support our work. For more information, visit www.NoahsArkNJ.org

Services

Animal Adoption

At Noah’s Ark, we are committed to finding the pet (dog or cat) that best suits your lifestyle based on that animal’s personality and needs.

Humane Education Workshop

The program is offered to schools and community groups throughout the greater Morris, Sussex, and Warren County areas. Through engaging and informative workshops, children are exposed to important concepts and trends in humane education that teach pet responsibility and promote the special bond between animals and humans.

Spay/Neuter Hotline

Since 1987, Noah’s Ark has provided a spay/neuter hotline, (973) 347-5469, where pet owners can speak with a hotline volunteer who will refer callers to participating vets upon caller request or the caller’s proximity to the veterinary office. The Hotline volunteer mails a certificate to the individual to bring to their appointment with the selected veterinarian.
