SUPPORT FOR HAITI The colossal tragedy that struck Haiti, in particular Port-au-Prince, has moved the world. While support of all kinds is coming in, much more is needed. The “Scalabrini Mission” in the Croix-de-Bouquets district supports a school for 450 children, a medical clinic and a small agricultural project. The devastating results of the earthquake with its high number of fatalities and physical destruction is being well documented. The assistance required is enormous. The Scalabrini Fathers are there, on the ground, trying to maintain their mission against immense odds.
