About Us
The Pituitary Network Association (PNA) is an international non-profit organization for patients with pituitary tumors and disorders, their families, loved ones, and the physicians and health care providers who treat them. Founded in 1992 by a group of pituitary patients, PNA has rapidly grown to become the world's largest and fastest growing patient advocacy organization devoted to the treatment and cure of pituitary disorders. Our mission is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of every pituitary patient through:
- Providing public awareness programs and educational seminars,
- Assisting the medical community in developing uniform standards for early diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, and
- Providing unique resources and referrals

The PNA Pituitary Patient Resource Guide™, now in its 4th edition, is the only comprehensive reference guide of its kind for patients, their physicians, and their families. This guide is currently used in physician offices, medical schools, insurance companies, and libraries across the world.

The Virtual Family Hormonal Health Center is a powerful education and referral tool and provides a comprehensive resource library for hormonal health issues. Website users can access our glossary, information on pituitary diseases, frequently asked questions, and look for physicians and medical centers where they can be treated. We also provide articles on the latest research on diagnosis and treatment, and the opportunity for pituitary patients to share information with each other through our discussion forums. Patients and family members can communicate with medical professionals, watch demonstration videos to learn about surgical procedures, and chat with others struggling with the same issues. They can also visit our pharmacy to learn about their specific medication and potential side effects, and visit our Supplemental Medicine Center to learn about vitamins, herbs, etc. - all in accordance with accepted medical standards.

We are in the process of providing in-depth, accurate webinars on topics related to the treatment and diagnosis of pituitary disorders. Webinars will be targeted to patients, physicians and other health care providers, therapists, and social workers. Participants can see the presenter on video, view the presentation on screen and interact with the presenter or moderator via chat. The presentations can also be downloaded it at a later time. Most webinars are one hour long, with continuing education credit offered for physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, & case managers. See website for details about specific webinars.
