About Us
SomaliCAN Provides:
1. Mental Health Services: Assessments, counseling, case management, support groups, and school based programs.
2. Media: SomaliCAN Outreach Newsletter, radio, production of DVD's and other media resources.
3. Community Preparedness: CERT, First Aid, CPR, Crime prevention, victim services, citizenship education, youth support, and general public awareness.
4. Health Literacy: Community conversations, advocacy, service coordination, cultural competence training and health communication.
5. Language Services: Interpreting and translation services, transcription, teaching of Somali language.
6. Consultation: Expert advice on Somali, Muslim and African affairs.
